"Vertrouwen" is cruising the
canals and rivers of the Alsace-Lorraine region (eastern France, from Nancy
to Strasburg) this coming season. Widely considered the most
picturesque region of France, the Alsace-Lorraine offers beautiful
countryside, medieval fortress towns, stately castles, and fine wines and
cuisine. Of cruising interest we will also have the opportunity to
transit the inclined-plane lock while touring the Alsace-Lorraine.

You may help operate
ancient locks and cruise through tree-lined canals that wend
their way through rolling hills and quiet green pastures. |

| Your skipper introduces
you to the cruising life, showing you where the village bargains are and pointing out
intriguing bits of local lore. You take the helm as much as you like, or relax on deck as
the countryside slowly slips by. You experience Europe in a way few people do
far from the tourist scene, in a totally fascinating and relaxed setting. "Vertrouwen"
is your floating home as you discover a true slice of European life. |

| Accommodations:
Vertrouwen sleeps 4-6 guests in three bedrooms (4th reserved for
captain). Two heads and two showers. Other
Details: Fully equipped galley. Generator. 165HPdiesel
engine. Austin Mini on deck. Folding bicycles and garden set for dining
outside as you cruise. |

Charter Rates
 |
Fully crewed: $8600 per week for 4
people, includes all meals, skipper, fuel, moorage, lock fees,
transportation from the nearest train station to the barge.
|
|
Partial Provision: $6800 per week
for 4 people. Same as the above except we provide breakfast and lunch
and you take care of supper--either sample local restaurants or use our
well-equipped galley. |

Skippered Cruise: $6300
per week for 4-6 people. Same as above except you take care of the
meals. |
Receipt of 30% of the charter fee reserves the booking. Balance is
due 90 days prior to charter. |
