Welcome Aboard "Imagine"
imagine04.jpg (65234 bytes)

This summer "Imagine" will  continue her adventure in European travel while cruising the rivers and canals of France.  Her owners, Paul and Michelle Caffrey, invite you to join them as they explore new locations, find great places to shop and eat, tour museums and generally enjoy life.

Unpack your bags in your private stateroom with modern en-suite facilities and then enjoy a welcome aboard dinner. Breakfasts will include fresh croissants, cereals, fruits and breads from the local boulangeries.  Paul and Michelle will provide a buffet lunch, often taken on deck, including local pates, terrines, cheeses, salads, breads and  a selection of local wines.

After breakfast you can simply cruise along or try your hand at piloting the barge or assisting as you work your way through canal locks. The pace is slow enough to walk or bicycle the canal paths as you look for the perfect places to stop for lunches and dinner.  You are always free to use the dining facilities on the barge or set out on your own to explore the many towns that you will visit.  There you will find wonderful restaurants from local fare to Michelin three-star establishments.  Sightseeing trips can be taken to visit area markets, old towns and churches and local wineries.

Each stateroom has twin beds (which may be made up as a queen bed if requested), opening skylight and plenty of hanging and shelf space for clothes.  The adjacent private bathrooms have a sink,  toilet and  a spacious shower.  There is a washing   machine and dryer on board so you can pack light.
